Holidays Around the World
We have been "traveling" around the world (to other classrooms!) and learning about holidays around the world. We are writing about our experiences and will make a book about our travels. These are some of the things that we have learned...
Yestrday I learned about Italy. Mrs.Lickfeld asked everyone what their favorite country was.My favorite country was Italy. We got to taste this kind of bread. It wasn`t good at all. First I thought I liked it. But! Then I didn`t. It got really discusting to almost everybody. So every Christmas the Italy people have Panettone bread for Christmas dinner. It looked like it had rasins in it. I thought I was going to throwup. It looked so discosting because it was discosting!
Yesterday we learnd about Italy. On chistmas thay eat panattony bread. It lookd so yomy. I could not what till I could eat it. I never tasted panttony bread. soon it was time to go back to the room. I told Mrs.Lickfeld all about it!
My faveret country that I visit is England.We leran that they were the first ones to make the card. Now every one has that trudeshen. that was very nice of them. We also leran that every day at the dinner tabel they have a thing calld a cracker. When they open it... it pops. somthing pops out. We leran that when two persens are onder a mistsoteo they kiss.
We laern about diferant contrys.But I can only tell you one contry.I will tell you about England.Mrs.Carlson was teachs us about England.They have Father Christmas andstade of Santa Claws.Fathrer Christmas dilivers gifts too.In England Father Christmas is inportend to England espeshuiy to kids.They were the first ones to make a Christmas cards.I never new that.I thout that the U.S.A.I laern so much stuff.
My Favorite Country about Mexico did you no that an mexico they had a flower called poinesttia.They talk spanesh like me.Wean they have christmas they had to go to a church they had to give baby guesus aprasen to him.
In Italy every Christmas they eat bread called panettone bread. I aet some. I dint like it.It looked brown on the outside and yellow on the inside. It taste like razzens.
I learnd about Mexico in Mrs.Mathis cass room.We learnd that a poinsetia is a flower.A child picked one and gave it to baby Jesus .Then they grow every where in Mexico.
My favorite country is Germany because they have a pickle . They put the pickle in the Chist mas tree .If the kids find the pickle they will get a exrata present from Santa.Our class wrote about Germany the other day .It was a lot of fun...You shoud do it.We travold too a lot of countrys.The country.We all love the country.
My classmates and I have been going around the world to learn stuff about that Country for Chistmas. So far my favirite Countrys are England and Mexico. In England they have Father Christmas insted of Santa Claus. In Mexico every single time a Mother has a baby everybody has to give it a baby toy so it has stuff to play with. I love learning about Mexico and England. In England they made the first cards in the world. In England they have crackers with candy, juwls, treats, and goodis inside of the crackers. I am not talking about the crackers that you eat. The crackers in England make a poping sound when you open it. I think I want to live in England when I grow up. In Mexico they have flowers called Poinesttia. Some poeple still have the flowers called Poinesttia in Mexico. I want to have a Poinesttia.
My favorite country is GERMANY because they was the frist one to put a Christmas tree. They put a pickle and they have to hidit in the tree because St. Nickls will give them a treet. We made a pickle out of papr to put in the tree.
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
